POWERLine 370 (ballscrew drive units)

Released in 2001 this product has met with great sucess. Based on the POWERLine series the 370 offers a reduce cost solution while maintaining most of the standard POWERLine performance. There are two differences between the 370 and the standard POWERLine. The first is the guide system. The 370 utilizes two longer guide blocks compared to the standard four shorter blocks. This reduces the load capability, but also shortens the unit and reduces cost. The second difference is ball nuts. The standard POWERLine uses two pre-loaded ball nuts. The 370 uses one ball nut with reduced backlash by ball size selection. Even with one ball nut the repeatibility of the actuator is ± 20 microns (0.0008"). The same cover strip and screw support systems are used so the maximum speeds remain the same at 2.5 m/s (100 in/sec).
