Mechanical Linear Drives Belt Drive Assemblies
MLSH - FORCELine
Wiesel FORCELine MLSH is the latest in a long line of belt drive linear actuators designed by NEFF. The MLSH is the first enclosed Wiesel unit to use the extremely fast SPEEDLine guidance system. In the MLSH are moved farther apart and positioned at a 45° angle to reduce the overall height. The shape of the profile and spacing of the guide ways give higher moment ratings around the axis of motion. The wide profile also provides a very stiff foundation for cantilevered systems.
The FORCELine MLSH retains the successful cover-strip system used in the Wiesel family for many years as well as the centralized lubrication point for ease of maintenance. The FORCELine MLSH is available with a stroke of up to 5500 mm (18 ft). The MLSH offers top speeds of 6.5 m/s (21 ft/sec) and acceleration of up to 4g.
The FORCELine now offers more mounting options. The familiar KAO dovetail mounting brackets are still available, but now direct mounting to the profile can be achieved. Every 100 mm along the profile are two mounting holes. These holes are tapped M8 or alternatively an M6 bolt can be mounted downward into a tapped mounting surface. The surface of the unit's power bridge (carriage) also has T-slots on similar spacing allowing easy X-Y assembly of gantry or Cartesian systems.
