Precision Technology electromechanical linear actuators are a combination of ball-screw or trapezoidal screws driven via electrical motors which move a cylinder spindle, thus controlling both speed and position. Standard strokes range from 100 to 1.500 mm. Different lengths are available upon request. The maximum dynamic load capacity is 75.000N (8.5 Ton) and they can be installed on practically any kind of industrial machine where movement is required without using manual, pneumatic or hydraulic methods.

     The screw type can be specified as either a ball-screw or a trapezoidal screw. The ball-screw has a high efficiency due to the low frictional losses imparted by the rotation of ball bearings, they are generally not self locking and can be used for high duty cycles. If the load is low and the duty cycle is low, that is to say if the actuator works periodically with long stops, a trapezoidal screw will suffice.

M100 Basic Model Actuator

     The basic model actuator has been designed to easily attach several types of drive i.e. manual, electrical, mechanical, etc. The linear speed is determined by the RPM of the motor and the pitch of the screw. The thrust depends on the screw pitch and motor power.

M205 Actuator For In-Line Motor Drive

     The M205 actuator has been designed for handling high loads with low to medium speeds.

M501 Actuator For Right Angled Belt Drive And Parallel Motors

     This actuator has been designed for medium loads and a wide range of speeds. It needs to be mounted with a motor or motor gearbox combination and a toothed belt drive. A braked motor can be supplied if needed.

  • Fixing: Trunion / clevis mount.
  • Driving: Any kind of motor with toothed belt drive.

M505 Actuator With Integrated Right Angled Bevel Gear Box

     The M505 actuator has been designed for mounting several units in parallel and the drive to be at 90°.

M601 Actuator For Right Angled Gear Drive And Motor

     The M601 actuator has been designed for loads up to 750.000N and speeds ranging from 1 and 200 mm/sec.
